Christmas does indeed come but once a year, and this year we will certainly see a different Yuletide. But rest assured, Santa will still be stopping by each home this Christmas Eve - but socially distanced of course!

So how will you be celebrating your Christmas this 2020?

On 24th November, the UK government agreed on arrangements for the upcoming season, stating that three households will be able to meet up indoors between December 23rd and 27th, but unfortunately not inside pubs, hotels, shops, theatres, or restaurants.
It will certainly be the case that laptops and smart phones will be working to their full capacity this month to keep in touch with family members and friends who are unable to celebrate the festivities in person. COVID-19 has certainly taught us the important lesson of staying connected with those closest to us, and Christmas will be no different!

Whether you endeavour to celebrate with grandparents, cousins, aunts, uncles, brothers, sisters or friends this year in your home, we will all feel and appreciate the true meaning of Christmas and how much we have supported each other during what has been an extremely difficult 9 months.
Let us also not underestimate the importance of a good old Christmas Day stroll to work off those consumed festive calories and enjoy the crispness of the winter season. What would be nicer than returning to a toasty home with a lovely warm cuppa and a virtual catch-up to wake up those who are still sleeping off their Christmas Dinner.
So, make sure those grandparents are tech savvy with Zoom, and get those smart phones fully charged for what will be a quite different but just as important and special time for everyone across the country!
Do not spend Christmas alone. There are lots of ways to stay connected!
