We implement policies inline with National Guidance from Ofsted - using the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage

Policies are reviewed at least annually.
All team members review and agree to follow the Policies set by Wellies Day Nursery
We follow Safer Recruitment and all of the team have an Enhanced DBS check prior to employment.
When team members join us, they have a thorough Induction Procedure which includes Safeguarding, Emergency Procedures and Risk Assessments
Team members access training throughout the year, which keeps them up to date and supports Professional Development
There is a Trained First Aider on site at all times
Risk Assessments are reviewed at least annually.
There is a Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) or Deputy on site at all times during opening hours.

Milton Keynes MASH (Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub)- The MASH has a core team of representatives from Children’s Social Care, police, health and adult safeguarding co-located at Civic, 1 Saxon Gate East, Milton Keynes. It also has links with education, probation, housing, youth offending team and CAMHS (Child and adolescent mental health).
