The promise of spring arrival is enough to get anyone through the bitter winter’ –
Jen Selinsky

As we are making headway towards the finishing line to the end of lockdown, now is the time to put a ‘spring’ in your step and bounce back from the restrictions that the Coronavirus pandemic has imposed on us for so long – the light is undoubtedly shining brightly at the end of the tunnel!
So, why do we adore the spring season so much? Apart from increased daylight hours and warmer weather breaking free from the chilly grasps of winter, we can look forward to spring walks, the excitement of rediscovering our green fingers, and the long-awaited anticipation of planting seeds with our young gardeners in preparation for a colourful summer! Its time for you and your family to emerge from winter hibernation, lace up those trainers and get outside as spring is all about renewal and rejuvenation!

With the continual rapid rollout of the vaccine, freedom has never been so close (within touching distance), with the more realistic possibility of spending time and enjoying the sunshine with family and friends in the coming months!

Our feathered friends return to our gardens in all their finery, trees explode with greenness, flowers blossom, and let’s not forget those beautiful baby bunnies, piglets, ducklings and other adorable animals who you will discover bounding around during this super season!
According to a study carried out in 2008, hospital patients found that having flowers in their room made them feel more positive, reduced pain, and lowered anxiety – that’s blooming amazing!!

There is also no better time to breathe some free air into your home and get those little ones involved in a good old ‘Spring Clean!’ Did you know, that assigning your busy bees little odd jobs around the house will teach them the importance of being responsible, especially when it comes to tidying their bedrooms with their own possessions. It can also help them to become more self-reliant!
So, turn that lockdown frown upside down because the end is nigh, and the sun is going to shine for us!
